Property Manager

A great opportunity has recently become available for a self-motivated and hardworking individual who is looking to develop their property management skills within our busy Property Management department. The successful candidate will work closely with our Property Managers, Lettings team, and external contractors and clients, therefore good communication skills both written and verbal, are required. 

Where will you be working?

You will be working with a close-knit, friendly team in a recently refurbished, contemporary office environment with floor-to-ceiling windows and amazing canal-side views in the heart of Paddington Basin. 

The neighbourhood

This area has so much to offer. We are spoiled for the choice of quirky local cafes, restaurants, pubs, and bars in every direction. The canal-side walk is literally on our doorstep; Hyde Park and Oxford Street are only 15 mins on foot. 

Getting here

The closest stations are Edgeware Road and Paddington (Circle, District, Hammersmith & City, Bakerloo Elizabeth Lines). If you travel here by foot or bike, they have introduced new travel maps to help you with your journey. 
There are three locations around Fraser & Co Paddington Office with Santander bike hire, and they have also added additional bike racks beside 5 Merchant Square at North Wharf Road. Other bike racks can be seen located beside The Point on North Wharf Road, beside GoBoat and in front of 9 Harbet Road.

Essential skills & the role itself

Experience in residential property management is a must. We deal with a large portfolio of residential property so excellent communication skills, personable, driven, well presented and able to deal with a range of tenants and landlords from many different backgrounds and cultures.
Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail. Good administration and IT skills required
Preparing documents to send to tenants when they first move into a property. 
Liaising with tenants to book check-out inventories. 
Attend properties to check maintenance issues raised if required.
Running compliance reports and organising contractors to attend to complete the works.
Opening of incoming post and process accordingly. 
Keeping contractors up to date on outstanding invoices. 
Answering telephone and email queries.
