Situated in City of Westminster borough, Edgware Road's route originated as part of Roman Watling Street. The road extends 10 miles in an almost perfect straight line beginning at Marble Arch in the City of Westminster and heading north to Edgware in the London Borough of Barnet. It is the boundary of four London boroughs: Harrow and Brent to the west, and Barnet and Camden to the east.

Things to do

Hyde Park is one of London's marjor parks located right in the midst of Central London. Its entrance leads all the way from Kensington Palace right through Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, further leading to its corner and finally from Green Park (main entrance) to Buckingham Palace. Under the supervision of four Royal Parks – it is the largest park amongst all. In 2012, the park was honored to host the Triathlon and Marathon Swimming events for the London games.The opening and closing schedule for the park is 5 am – 12 am daily.

Transport

Edgware Road is a London Underground station that provides access on the Circle, District and Hammersmith and City lines, located on the corner of Chapel Street and Cabbell Street, within Travelcard zone 1. A separate station of the same name but served by the Bakerloo line is located about 150 metres away on the opposite side of Marylebone Road. Paddington station is also nearby allowing easy and direct access to Heathrow via Heathrow Express. There are several bus routes that allow access all across London.
