Regeneration in Acton

London is one of the most amazing cities in the world. It is not only home to a rich cultural heritage and historical sites but also is one of Europe's most progressive, forward-thinking hubs for start-ups, businesses and investment opportunities. There is no wonder why people decide to move here from all over to soak up the vibe and energy of this incredible multicultural capital and take advantage of the endless opportunities. London never sleeps, constantly evolving and renewing itself. Year after year we see completely undeveloped areas transform into the trendiest districts. Investors come here from overseas to invest in developments and regeneration projects to make a difference and create new areas/ living spaces to connect people and neighbourhoods.

North Acton is one of the latest districts, currently undergoing a massive regeneration project. That "no man's land" adjacent to the industrial area of Park Royal, is quickly becoming one of the most dynamic and best-connected new districts in the whole of the UK.

Wherever is regeneration, there is always transport and connectivity involved. In this case: HS2 and Crossrail. Phase One of HS2 will see a new high-speed railway line constructed from London to the West Midlands, where it will re-join the existing West Coast Mainline. Services will travel onwards to places like Manchester, Glasgow, Liverpool, Preston and Wigan. Phase One will open between 2029 and 2033. When it's finished, we will be able to get to Birmingham from London, Old Oak Common station in about 40 minutes. That is super fast, almost lighting speed, considering that's about 102 miles long distance. Impressive:)

If you are wondering what else is in North Acton, it is the Imperial College London: ranked 7th in the world in the QS World University Rankings focusing on science, engineering, medicine and business.

These ideal circumstances attracted City & Docklands developers to inject their modern vision into this exciting regeneration project and build London's only 54 level tower, One West Point, offering some of the highest living space in the Capital.
