London’s New Skyscrapers

The London Skyline consists of iconic skyscrapers and Landmarks which include, the shard, London Eye and the BT tower, which attract tourists and workers to the big city every year. The London Skyline is constantly regenerating and improving with new projects set to take place. In the next 10 years, we will welcome some new editions to the London Skyline Family.

The Tulip

The Tulip is set to become the tallest tower in London, which is 1,000 ft* in height. This high glass skyscraper will have 8 floors of attractions, including a bar, restaurant and a classroom in the sky. This will be constructed on 20 Bury Street which is adjacent to the Gerkin on 30 St Mary Axe. Plans for this are set to start in 2020 and due to complete in 2025, architecture by Foster + Partners.

22 Bishopgate

22 Bishopsgate is a commercial skyscraper which is currently under constructions and will set to open in late 2019. Situated on 20 Bury Street, this is adjacent to The Gerkin and is a commutable distance to Liverpool Street, Moorgate and Bank station. This skyscrapers has been designed with a sense of civic space scale with 61 levels. This will consist of 1,275 sq.ft of high specification office space arranged across 4 office zones and between each office zones there will be amenities such as onsite gym, Spa and Restaurant with sky view of the rest of the London skyline.

The Spire

Boasting a huge 67 storeys, The Spire will become Europe’s tallest residential skyscraper which will set to complete in 2020. The development will be constructed in West India Quay and situated between West India Quay Station DLR and Canary Wharf station. Residents can enjoy onsite amenities which include a 24 hour concierge, residential gym, external roof terrace and games room along with soft play room for children.
